Truly an excellent entry!
while the concept quite simple, I truly enjoyed this playthrough,
the mechanics are well made, very creative of you to choose such a concept like being a sidekick, the first I see in this jam yet, so kudos on the creativity!
the execution is very great too, the game is smooth and controls well, never encountered any funny stuff, quite polished too for such a short time frame! I truly respect realizing such an Idea in such a limited timeframe!
visually, the game has a simple artstyle, but a unique look thanks to the choice of the camera angles and adding the shadows to the sprites, that's so smart and gave the game a unique look that makes it stand out, I like the choice of the color palette too, albeit I felt the bloom to be excessive, but maybe that's just me,
sound wise everything cheeks out too, the music is cool too and totally fits the vibe,
overall a very solid entry, and quite the memorable one thanks to its simplicity and balance, its easy to pick up and play, I would totally play something of this nature in a more polished, expanded setting,
thus, truly a fun experience I had! great work!
