Finished the game! I didn’t have the problem of controls reversed because some controls are more used (most of the times you have to go right and jump, you never go left and you rarely slide) than others. Hitboxes are a bit unforgiving, but the game was doable and finished, and it’s a good thing for a game jam entry. Congratulations!
