It is my take on a reversal of the designer and player roles, with players having to design a level for an automated character I programmed

Very neat concept! I'd recommend limiting the number of exit doors you can place to just 1, because I was able to beat every puzzle by just placing exit doors on every tile. Regardless, I really like how much freedom the game gives you with regards to how you solve each puzzle. Nice work!

The wall in the inventory kinda blends in with the walls in the background, so I'd put an outline around that version of the sprite to help it stand out more. I'd also limit how many of each item the player can use to create more of a challenge, but I understand why that might not've been possible in the time limit. Otherwise, solidly constructed game.

It was really confusing, but I made it! Nice job, but at some point it loses its fun because there is no challenge.
