im a month late for this reply, but either an external, possibly malicious software, or like with my keyboard, you can set them, in my case Logitech G Hub, but it only works with certain Logitech products if you want to use G Hub
I don't got Logitech, I got Redragon (model number #M601-3 CENTROPHORUS)
