I do understand, you are fine. But there are specifically romantic focused story lines and quest lines. Again, Mika and the Manticore are the easy examples. They have a rather extensive setup to properly do their romance path. Hell, if you sell the collar Mika gives you, you essentially have a whole heart break scene where she kicks you out and you cannot interact with her ever again. Which even affects your relationship with sheep girl (just forgot the name).
