Yeah I bet, usually when there's gender options, it's because the MC isn't fully designed with multiple expressions. It's ok I understand, I can't imagine how you do this much work as a solo artist as is. :)
I like the stories so it's fine, and I can still enjoy it even if the character doesn't look or act like me anyway, especially when they're fleshed out, like they are in your stories. ^_^
