Hey!!! I played the demo!!! It was so good already, gosh!
I have to say the beginning of it got me HOOKED! The emotions, the music, the writing, everything was just excellent and Danielle ended up being a very touching protagonist. But more than that, her interactions with the boys showed her doubts, her fears, her hopes, her personality and shaped her as a character. Honestly, the moment she suggests a truce with Antonio made me scream: more than Antonio, it's really Danielle who I've fallen in love with during this scene efgrfgtrf really, she's in my top 5 girl protagonists so far! You managed to make her relatable and, I insist, touching. Also, Morgan is a supportive friend and an angel, I really enjoyed her!!! Excited to see more of her in the full-game.
For the love interests, I have to agree with Joy: LUCA????? LUCA????? LUCA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved his friendship with Alessio (when he said "That's my boy!" I WHEEZED). He's nice, caring, gentle, friendly, seems to be small in such a big world, and I really LOVE this kind of characters!!!!! So many green flags!! I love him!!!!! I remember he was my number 1 in terms of personality (my overall number 1 was Leo though if I had to consider personality and looks), and I'm glad I was right: I LOVE HIM!!!!! And the cooking CG was adorable!!!!!! And when Danielle told him: "Then I won't be your charge, I'll be your friend" EFRGTR4ET AAAAAAH!!!!!! They are definitely my OTP from this game!!!!!
Also, I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised by Renzo!!! He was very supportive and I enjoyed that a lot!! I was expecting him to be a bit more like Alessio, but he was better than that actually!! Excited to explore his relationships with his brother and with Angelo. And the "duvet monster" thing was so cute efgbtrfghbg
Regarding my dear Leo, I loved him!!!! I'll admit I don't ship him as much with Danielle as I do for Luca, but the way he just comments things while being detached is so amusing (honestly, he was the funniest for me, the "he cheats at cards too" made me scream)? And he's still reassuring and present for Danielle, in his own way, of course, but aaaaaaah!!!! I do feel like he's the kindest of them all deep down (although Luca is a close second).
For Alessio, I enjoyed his interactions with Luca. He was a bit of a flirt, which is not my type, but you know, I want to discover him! To see what he's hiding deep down!
For Antonio, honestly, you got me at the book scene during the first part of the game lovers talking about books is one of favourite tropes fegdeze His relationship with Danielle was a rollercoaster, but Danielle is so amazing she's able to fix him!!!! I know she can!
I've seen too little of Angelo to have an opinion, but the conflict between his family's deeds and himself is interesting!! He seems like the ugly duckling of the group, and I'm curious to explore more!
Overall, the GUI was neat, the art was really good and the music carefully chosen (I especially enjoy the ones towards the end and at the beginning!). The writing was great and the pacing absolutely wonderful (I can tell you have experience in writing!). I'm really looking forward to discovering more, and you can be proud of you! This is an amazing first VN (is this your first VN?), and you did a splendid job!!!!
