I am curious, do you think the gameplay improved or got  butchered?  Last time I played, there was only a werewolf, you had corruption of the girls and had to level up their skills and such. I think only the last boss fight was missing. Also some story elements were different, like introduction of princess or how to prepare for orcs. Or the wife swapping with  the goblin tavern owner.

In my opinion the game got degraded to a non branching visual novel.

It's hard to say, when I first played some years ago it wasn't that different in terms of narrative and there were no choices I can remember. Other than the "combat" it was always a visual novel. The combat system seems worse than last time I played though. It puts a lot of emphasis on leveling up but the grind itself is pretty grating after a while. That's if you play normally that is.

Oh, the overal narrative was the same, but several details were changed.   I liked how they previously had to prepare to face the orcs. Now they just have to fill up a bowl. And I disliked the change from werewolf to wolfpeople.  Werewolfs are cool, wolfpeople ... not.

There was only one part I had to "grind" and that was one of those additional last quests in hell where locked and drain enemys appear. All other stuff was done at the second try at most. Some button mashing and releasing the combo energy. I finished in 28 ingame days, girls ranging from lvl 30 to 16. And I did not even do brothel work every day.

Since you cannot level up the girls manually, you just switch when energy is low and mash the button, there is no strategy in maximizing any stats. I guess that is why the game now has "action" rpg as a tag. The way the combat mechanic is , with the meter going up and down, it is vulnerable to just pressing the button really fast, so it does not go down often enough.
