Did you try pressing the escape button?
It sadly crashes every time.
Do you get a crash report? What does it say when it crashes? And are you playing on HTML, Windows, or Mac?

Try navigating to that file designated by the error, selecting it, then click File > Get Info. Click the arrow next to Sharing & Permissions. (You may also need to scroll down.) Go to your username and change the Privilege to Read & Write.
