The alignment doesn't lock you off any route, only your LI choices do: I thought it would be fun to try locked romance routes, but as to not be too containing there are 2 Love Triangles present, so you can initiate the romance with 2 LIs (during chapter 1 and 2), and decide on one later in-game without replaying. The only RO who is locked if you initiate romance with any other LI is Saltire, so if you're going for them, you might want not to pick any option with a heart icon for other characters in chapter 1. Aside from that, some choices and alignments will give you different scenes during the game, so hopefully replaying will be interesting as well.
