I'm on vacation right now and will give a deeper reply with examples when home probably Sat. But I wanted to let you know you can absolutely make content with FPS, so long as I'm attributed (as I'm sure you would have).

Thank you for the fast reply, and also for the permission. I'll try my best to do justice for this game. Have a safe trip!

Hi Logen,

Apart from reminding you of my previous question, I also wanna ask about what to do when I reached the destination (draw a joker on encounter). Do I choose a suitable PoV, complete the challenge and done with it, or do I just decelera completion at that point?

Thanks

Heya, sorry it took me a bit to get back to you, had a lot of stuff pile on top of me on return and I forgot.

In response to your first questions, my intention with the game was to continue to roll on a failure, losing dice with each failure until I was out of dice (i.e. dead).

Regarding your second response/reminder, the Joker represents that you have completed a mission if one was generated at the start of the game, so yes you basically declare success for that run (or keep playing if you rolled 2 missions).

Hi, Logen. No worries! Real life should always take priority so I can understand.

So regarding the failure, even if I have less Luck dice than the required success I still roll anyway? For example I encountered Survival challenge with 3 boxes and I only have 2 Luck dice left?

Thank you for taking your time responding. Appreciate that.

BTW, I did a playtest where I moved to the next area on success or failure, I guess I played on easy mode haha. I'll put the replay on my blog soon.

Yes, you roll anyway, because if you get two passes and tick 2 boxes, you roll again hoping to tick that last box before losing your dice. Think of each roll as a single beat, a single moment of action, and sometimes events require more than one action to defeat.

Regarding moving on success or failure, you can certainly play that way. You'll cover more ground for sure.
