What is the license?

MIT, so totally free to use. Credits optional but appreciated :)

MIT is for code... Art usually uses CC licenses https://creativecommons.org/about/cclicenses/

Take a look on them...

For MIT license user must save text of MIT somewhere so in this case it is crediting...

fair enough, gonna update the page to reflect the proper license, but feel free to use it without any requirements

Without any requirements means public domain and for assets suits CC0 (way to say it is public domain)

(1 edit)

project description updated to reflect the license.

thanks for the callout

Ok. But i still have a question. Don't you need credits? Or you just decided to use CC BY that requires credits

Anyway, you should add the license into metadata for the asset pack(s):

"Edit asset pack->Metadata->Release Info->License for assets" It will increase the size of audience that will be able to find your art

Ah, alright, I got it now, I followed the creative commons site and instruction to select CC, and though that was the right one.

But I feel I fully understood now, thanks for going over with this with me. I believe the project page and description is correct now!

You have already added link to the github repo to the description so you should also add it to the metadata "Edit game -> Metadata -> External links"

You also can apply MIT license to the code...
