This ended far too quickly for my liking! I was already invested in my poor, heartbroken (because I can never turn down a good "lost my love" option) MC's story. Felt a little bad for old boy in the trunk too. MC was probably a little rougher with him than necessary considering the circumstances... lol.
Caught a typo, if you want it - when MC hits the "breaks," it should be brakes.
