It keeps saying I need 'Microsoft Visual C++' and 'DirectX runtime'. Has anyone else had this problem? What should I do?
install both. They're used for most indie games since they're really good coding tools that can be broadly implemented, so if you play itch games or indie games often you'll end up having to install both of them eventually anyways

install unreal engine, tried installing microsoft c++ individually and it did nothing, but when i installed unreal engine it booted immediately
