For myself, I feel a bit split. On one hand, the stats being visualized or readily available  would be greatly convenient and make sense in the context of it being a game. Inversely, I would much rather have hints, e.g. "She doesn't seem to trust you very much right now" or something to that effect. Kind of similarly to the way it is now. Where you get a hint for what you would need to work on, rather than fumbling blindly. But without telling you it's a matter of "Do X action 5 times to unlock next milestone" - which I feel would damage the narrative experience and getting to know the character.
