Only a downloadable, breaks the rules.

(+1)

My game is probably not good enough to win regardless of the rules.  I think the point of the competition was to show that gDevelop is a great no code tool for creating 2d or 3d games.  They seemed interested in mobile compatibility so that is the build I provided.

Mobile compatibility is a bonus thingy.
The point was of course to show GDev capabilities but the browser compilation is the easiest to do and upload and also easiest to test so that's why the rules are there.

Try play testing all of the games and you'll soon notice why :D

I did play test the other games to see what others created.  I noticed lots of things, but I have no idea what your are talking about.

the html requirement is for the thing that anyone could play and test the game regardless of platform.
also downloading and installing takes time off of playing and rating other games.

While it is probably to late for you maybe this link will reduce the time required to install and play:  https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.allbinary.game.gd.threed.minia...

Cannot play since I don't have any android devices to play it with.

Someone that makes games, but does not have any Android or Chromebook devices yet complains I did not deploy to the slowness of browsers.  You are so funny.

Here are some of my HTML5 10 year old plus builds for your ancient browser device:  https://html5.allbinary.com/

Slowness of the browsers what???
:D

Read the rules...
That is what this is all about.
- Games must be published to be played on browsers (bonus thumbs up for mobile compatibility!), without requiring extra hardware.

How hard is that...

Dude,

1. Not everyone has an Android or Chromebook

2. The rules CLEARLY say that you MUST have a browser playable edition on itch or gd.games so you aren't "deploying" to the "slowness" of browsers

3. Wesley said in the Gdevelp discord that if you want to win, you need a browser playable version

So stop being so big-headed and just add a browser playable version

P.S. It might be too late

I only use the JSON to generate the game so I don't really have a way to submit to gd.games.
