The story isn't on pause - there have already been a few story elements introduced, such as Chastity's appearance - but in order to access the story areas like the college you have to conquer the district that they're in, first :)

More and more of these story moments will begin to pop up as more of the map is conquered and new events can be unlocked (and then intersect with other areas). The systems are designed to work together, such that combat unlocks story and story events can grant things to help in combat.

It's just taking me a little while to get there, as I'm only one man and these are brand-new systems that require a little love and care before I can think of them as "done" :P

Dope. well youre doing a good job. more than expected by anyone im sure. it's nice to see there's still thing being made by people who are passionate about making them. guess the world cant completely snuff that out, no matter how hard it may try. Thanks fer letting me know.

I appreciate that :) And this is certainly a story I really want to tell, and enjoy telling! I'm even excited to get to work on the sequels once CK1 is finished, so that I can take everything I've learned here (this is my first game) and hopefully make the next game significantly better. Hope you stick around to see it!

count on it. planning on sticking with the Ren'py engine? cuz uve just about taxed this poor lil engine just about as hard as it can go. Im very surprised youve done as much as you have already with it and its still functional. thot it wud av snapped like a tooth pick long ago. personally im a huge fan of unity and how goddamn versatile it is. from the pokemon games to virt-a-mate, that engine is insane. anywhozit, was just curious if u were gunna stick with the same style
