I found a spot with 4 Flies first then if hold Z you surrender yourself, anytime I got back up I held Z and the bugs would not attack but instead start the animation! This took about 20 minutes to do and if you stand up and surrender right away the time to laying eggs does not pass!
Ah, on mobile maggots have priority in attack even when you press "taunt" button, maggots simply jumps at you too fast to let fly catch you, and running around map would be tiring especially with tentacles that cant be killed
