How to update on PC? i dont wanna lose my previous progress :( sorry im new to PC stuff

no? If you don't already have the option to update on the bottom right corner ( I assume you're using the Itch.io app and not webpage) you go to the cog next to launch button to manage the game and if it says v0.1.2.2 as your main file to manage you'll want to either A. Uninstall it than install the new update or B. install v0.1.2.3 ( the new update) which should overwrite the old update and keep your save files without having to transfer them
Saves are stored in "/game/saves" folder (in Renpy games). One can manually copy that folder into newly instaled update, to be sure. Or just install new update, start game, and it should be auto-copied, and after that remove old version. Also (not rly sure) they say, even when game was deleted, saves will reappear in a new instalation, but this is kinda bad news, as there is some data storage beyond our basic control. Probly hidden in some backup system folder.
