You're right my views and opinions don't matter but the same can be said for your own views and preferences. And the dev didn't so much listen as he just caved and removed the content from the public build to appease you self entitled man children. The content is still in the patreon version of the game because the people who actually support the dev either are at the very least ok with the content or mature enough to look past the content they don't care much for so that they can enjoy the content they do like. In short what we are seeing here is not "listening" it's appeasement. If you're too blind to see that then that's on you...

I never commented until the content had already been removed at which point I advocated for it to be avoidable, and I am largely pro any and all sexual content being optional unless a developer deems it important. And no shit, but I'm not the one condescending as though they've something substantial to say, as if you are doing those "ignorant" a favor by imparting your "lessons". Glad we have some perspective. And listening or appeasing, whatever you want to call it, I believe it is the developer's prerogative, and that isn't to say one has to like it. I'm playing nice here, you are assuming, calling people manchildren, and the developer pathetic.
As an aside, I'd argue removing the scenes also qualifies as "creative choice" regardless of how it was reached but whatever.
I've stated this before but I'll say it again. The issue isn't that the content was removed but rather why it was removed. If it was a matter of the dev not liking the content then I wouldn't have any issue with the removal. My issue is that the dev only removed said content from the public build to appease a bunch of random morons on the internet who have no intention of supporting the game or the dev to begin with. In short it wasn't a matter of the dev not liking what they came up with but rather an attempt to appease the self entitled morons who put their own personal preferences before the creative liberties of the dev. Is that easier to understand or do I need to simplify it further?
I well understand your issue (I guess this is an attempt to hone in on what I explicitly call an aside?), look at what I've actually replied to. More than half of your initial comment is pretending you are an authority on poly relationships, worse still as if it matters in a fictional setting, and insulting nebulous players and the developer. You later assume things about me, like you have the extent of the developers rationale, and the public playerbase, where supporters come from. The developer can remove content for any reason they deem, from any build, you don't have to like it, you are free to express that. I'm calling you out because you're being a prick.
I never claimed to be an authority on polyamory. But as someone who has been in multiple polyamorous relationships throughout their life I do in fact know what I'm talking about and have given insight on the matter. But in your eyes giving said insight makes me a prick? Furthermore I have stated an opinion regarding the community as a whole and the dev not you personally. If you choose to take my opinion regarding this community as a whole personally then that's also on you.
