I do love philosophy and surrealism, but I agree with the other commenter here that long-form discussions can be difficult to follow when using the visual novel format, especially with the writing style being quite convoluted. I like the idea of having vastly different backgrounds and character art styles though, as it brings a unique visual interest to the piece, and feeds into its surrealist feel.

You'd find it easier to follow in a plain novel?

Or even a text-based game with graphics added in! With the current format, the text looks like it's almost about to get chopped off at the bottom edge of the screen, which can be a bit distracting. Since your approach is text-heavy and text-focused, I'd recommend putting that front and centre.
