I like the idea of a one dimensional multiplayer game, and good job on the back end part. However it's hard to give proper feedback since I was probably playing alone? Maybe it would be nice indicate how many players are connected and where they are located. Even better would be to have a few AIs in there so you could at least play when nobody else is connected.
