Another masterpiece by Meguey & Vincent Baker. THE JOURNEY OF HALF-A-FOOL perfectly encapsulates the plucky protagonist of a fairy tale who has more luck than common sense.
The eight plays fully captures the interactions between fairy tale characters, and are very fitting to the setting.
The mechanics of this game flips the traditional power dynamic between the player and the GM. Instead of having the GM describes everything and asks the player "What do you do?", the player has control of the story and asks the volunteers "What happens to me?"
The attached "Dubious Guide to Fairy-Land" is beautifully written and expands on the setting. Many "exceptions" are included, which reflects the contradictory nature and fickleness of fairies.
