This is a review of version 0.9.5 of Witchcraft, which is publicly available on the creator's patreon.

Cons:

Although there's a great amount of content, there's a complete lack of direction. The main story shouldn't have to be sought out, and money grinding is neither long nor short enough to fit well. I also don't like how there is somehow a whole metropolis inside the village... I recommend changing the real world village into more of a mediterranian port city on a hill type thing, so it'll contrast with the highlands village of the fantasy world while still having both village and city vibes.

Pros:

The character design and development is good so far. Again, better if npcs weren't treated like interfaces, but still. The combat system also isn't bad, although going back to the real world removes the dagger (definitely a bug).

When version 10 public comes out, please start updating on here again. Itch is great exposure and this game deserves love.
