if you mean the public release of 0.14 or the one after that (0.15), yes, saves from older versions will definitely work in these.
After that, I can't say for sure yet.
Some of the older parts of the game, including some code, have turned out to be not that future-proof, and that will make adding new scenes and features harder over time, unless we get rid of it soon (which would likely break saves).
But if that happens, it'll definitely be the last time, and we will offer some way to unlock the old content quickly, so players don't need to start over and spend hours redoing everything.
I hate that in other games, too, so we'll look for ways to make that as painless as possible, if it becomes necessary.
