The 'Cassidy bursts onto the scene' changed last month (with a choice leading to Cassidy being gone forever).
This change wasn't reflected on some event's conditions, leading to events triggering when they shouldn't. I suppose you hit this case.
Fixes are already implemented but are only available on the weekly releases right now.
