Totally understandable! I get that some people just don't have a strong internal compass, and those tend to be the people who get lost quickly, and as such, don't like maze games. Really, the fact that it's a maze is more of a means to an end, and had I had more time, I would have developed it more. Anyway, given that you're into Silent Hill, I highly suggest at least watching someone beat it, because there is much more to the game, and there's just no way to know that if you don't even get past the first segment.
