Controls/ Gameplay

The combat is rather basic but seems to work ok. It would have been nice to have different abilities between the two characters. Even if it was as simple as changing the words.

If you die the game just closes completely forcing you to have to relaunch it.

There seem to be traps littered throughout the level, which cause a small amount of damage to the fire character but you die in two hits on the water character. This combined with the fact that they are difficult to see is very frustrating, especially as they don’t disappear after you walk over them.

It is also possible to walk through some of the walls.

I’m not sure if you’re supposed to bring one character to the other, but I couldn’t find a way to do this.

Graphics

When in combat the water enemy continues to walk towards you which is a bit weird. You can also barely see the water enemy apart from the glowing eyes.

I do like the enemy design of the demon dog creature that you fight as the fire character. It has a nice amount of detail while sticking to the art style.

There are some noticeable seams showing in the textures of the walls on the corners, but this doesn’t detract much and is only really noticeable if you are looking for it.

The level design does feel very copy and paste with not much variety.

Music

No music plays although it is credited with music so I can only assume that this is a bug.

Sound Effects

If you alt tab back into the game it sometimes plays a horrible loud noise that plays for a moment but it is very painful to listen to.

Apart from this no sounds play but there are sounds credited so I can only assume that this is a bug.

Story

A bit basic, but I do like the play on the old “Hello World!” that any programmer will recognize.

Theme

Duality is somewhat present. You play as two different elements and fight different enemies, but they do the same damage and have the same AI.

User Interface

The main menu is a little basic, but does all it needs to.

The combat interface is basic, but works.

Additional Notes

 None

Thank you. That's right. You have to bring the characters together. There are 2 ways to do it.

You have really thought about the feedback. So much of it =D Good points that I'll take care of later. Sounds seems to be bugged in some cases then
