The confrontation and dragon scenes won me over immediately, I love the judgmental and inconsiderate moments (because 1. Who doesn't like a diverse set of characters with conflicting beliefs and principles??? And 2. It's legit always the most fun route with the best character development, I don't make the rules 🤷🏽♂️) AND It's so fun playing as an optimistic, sensitive, or just overly forgiving MC who shocks him. Or makes him question everything he thought he knew.

If you talk with Nimue as a friend on the beach she only says Merlin doesn't trust Morgana either, but when you go to the dragon abode with Gawain at the feast and talk about Merlin, it still says "you wonder if she had given him the same warning", which at this point she hasn't done. Just a heads up!

Hey this is one of the best IFs I've played in here. This story got me feeling the whole spectrum of human emotions, all the characters are beautifully written and they feel so.. human. And just, the amount of choices here?! Like there's a lot?! There's way more than I used to play and its just. Amazing. Idk what else to put here but genuinely, thank you for the trans option. I'm trans myself and seeing it in game makes me cry like everyone be so supportive of trans mordred esp the part where accolon calls mordred his son eee thank you thank you.
absolutely one of my favorite games in this site, genuinely. i love the characterization of every single one of the characters depicted here. arthur and morgana have got to be my favorites — a father that you know is a good person but has never done quite enough for you and a mother that does absolutely everything for you but you know isn't a completely good person? absolute perfection, and hits a bit too close to home honestly lol. and i also (especially) looooved the lore of dragons, every paragraph that includes those i ate it up.
You mean, delay between selecting a choice and the next page being loaded? I'm not having any issues with it and I haven't had other players report on it, so it doesn't sound like a game-specific problem.
after playing through with a constant internet connection, here's a bit more detail:
the problem only occurs in choices about appearance (dragon, mordred, parents etc) and just had to be tapped a few times. I thought it was a save file issue at first but it'd persist even after reloading/restarting.
Then I tested on my computer with the same wifi and didn't have any issues.
Truly have no idea if it's just my phone, but I still wanted you to know
On a serious note: I think you've done incredibly well with this take on Arthurian myth -- and I am always a ho for Arthurian myth LOL.
[WARNING: SPOILERS]
I love the theme of parents as people in this. Like, obviously Uther comes off as plain evil and Igraine as an angel, but considering they've both passed by this point, that's to be expected. The rest of the cast is wonderfully complex. In particular, the way you wrote the relationships between Morganna and Junia and Accolon got me.
The easy thing to do would have been to write it so that neither Junia nor Accolon knew that Morganna had raped Arthur, and for them to abandon her upon learning of this. Most of the time in real life, it's a lot harder to abandon someone you love, even when you know they've done something horrible. Mordred and Gareth continue to love their mother because they're children and children tend to be fiercely loyal to their parents. Accolon and Junia do it because they know how good Morganna can be, if only she would step off this path she's taken.
Junia standing up to Morganna was beautifully done. She saw her sister was falling apart and made the incredibly difficult move to stop coddling and enabling her bad decisions while still being sympathetic to the reasons behind them. Morganna has lost so much, and the only way to stop a full-on meltdown is to show her that there is yet more to lose if she continues. A wonderful example of "I love you enough to lose you."
And the way you've addressed trauma! Morganna and Arthur are absolutely adults who've made mistakes and need to correct them. But on another level, they are also still "stuck" as traumatized teenagers, visible in Arthur's timidness and Morganna's rage. Just a couple of scared kids. Lancelot appears to fall in here as well (I imagine he's been through some hell and that Morganna's attempt to drown him as kids hasn't helped). These three, contrasted with calm and mature Kay and Accolon, have a lot of pain to work through. You can see it in their parenting as well: Gareth, Galahad, and Mordred (if one chooses to play them as such) are all terribly mature and grave for children their age. Meanwhile, Gawain has far more childlike tendencies because Kay and Hilde Alistair didn't pass down trauma to him.
Lot and Uther create your hard line of what a horrible person is, while characters like Kay fall firmly into "good," allowing everyone else to exist and move along the spectrum of "trying their best."
A final note: while I have been reading Morganna as a tragic villain (not sure if that was your intent?), I believe you have done her character justice. She is not insane, or evil for evil's sake, but rather someone who has stepped off a precipice and not reached the bottom yet.
Kinda wish our bonded dragon was a romance option, they are the only character my Mordred has actually connected to and implicitly trust at this point, even while having a good enough relationship with Gareth and Gawain, they also happened to be (potentially) the only girl our age we have interacted and got to know so far, and even when the other girls appear, we've already been with them for years by then.

I swear I left a comment a month or so ago but! This is such a fantastic game!!! Utterly in love. Words cannot properly describe how much I've enjoyed this so far- the parting at the end of the most recent chapter had me desperately hanging on to the metaphorical cliff, refusing to believe I had somehow played through all of the released content so shortly- then I checked the time and realized I had simply been enthralled and lost track of my daylight lol. Thank you so much for sharing- I'll definitely be checking back again soon☺️ blessed be.
Genuinely one of the best text-based games I had played on this site. Finding out how twisted, misconstrued, and misunderstood some characters have made me instantly change how I respond to what certain characters did/do/and will do.
Can't wait to see how much more trauma and pain we go through.!
I'm not really a big Camelot fan so I was a little hesitant to try this at first, but the demo absolutely blew me away! The story is a refreshing, yet familiar take and I couldn't be happier with the amount of choices and the nuance between each one. I'm used to settling for the choice that's closest to what I actually want in these types of games rather than the exact reaction I'm looking for, but in this there was always an option that was utterly satisfying for the Mordred I envisioned.
Not only that, but NOT feeling like I'm being pigeon holed into focusing on one stat/ability to be able pass stat checks (which is common in text IF's) was incredibly freeing. Despite my initial hesitation, I'm now clearly feeling that ache that comes from finishing an awesome demo and settling in for the update wait. I'd definitely recommend this even to people who aren't particularly interested in or familiar with the stories around Camelot/Arthur! Major props to the author.

Every time a new update lets me add a new hobby I giggle. Thank you for letting me live out my fantasy of being able to pursue all the arts. From the bits I've picked up following various writers it would have been easier to give us one point where we can choose an art or hobby, but you gave us so many points where we can pick up arts and you tied it into relationships. It contributes to the story and we have so many options and I am so, so grateful that you decided to do it this way. I love getting to play a character who has the resources to just pursue whatever arts catch their attention. It is such a nice change from a lifetime of having to worry about whether a hobby is affordable.
Also, dragon friends are the best friends. Brilliant addition to the world, Elewen and Mordred's own darling bring so much joy. I love that despite all the troubles Mordred has at least one friend to trust. And Callum is simply adorable. The dragon teacher is lovely and seems very good at their job. I love that they take off-topic questions seriously.
Thank you for creating this, for taking the time and energy to share it with us. I look forward to seeing how this piece of art grows.
I've been at least weekly checking out for updates. Your writing is really captivating, I couldn't help myself but read everything from beginning to end on a same day. Keep it up!

One of my favourite text based game of all time. I first saw the words "book one" while playing this update and my heart can't take 10 years to wait for a multi book series to be completed so pls send help.
