everything else was cool though. the art, characterization, plot (from what i remember) i just struggled with the relationship and ending bits

i bought this game a while ago, but i don't think i ever done a full playthrough. i dont really like how the endings we get depend on the relationship we have with other characters and yadayadayada. i havent played in a while but i found it difficult to start a romance? i cant tell what options are for romance and what ones are platonic/antagonistic. i would've also preferred a gender selectable mc, (rip to the gays) but beggars cant be choosers.
I want to say that I really love how engaging the writing is! I look forward to future chapters. I’ve read, edited, etc… a lot of works: interactive and non-interactive, and yours really stands out to me! I find your book (specifically) to be really unique. Not only is the punctuation, grammar, and vocabulary exquisite… but the characterization, foreshadowing, plot, and story telling are, too! If you don’t already have plans to put a price on the final version, I truly believe you should consider it. It’s even better considering you’re a humble person/author, which we don’t see much of those these days… Based on the comments, it’s fair to say that you did such a great job at pulling in readers! I recommend that everyone should read this at least once.
i adore the update (and the story in general) you have so much potential! i love how the concept is unique and the characters are well made already. my only request is you don’t stress yourself out. it’s normal to feel overwhelmed and i want you to know its totally okay if you ever need breaks! especially in the if community, as readers tend to pressure the authors.
as for the update, i encountered a few coding errors whilst playing through the new chapter. i didn’t screenshot them but i can go back and replay to find the errors again if you’d like to pinpoint where they are.
this game is a still work in progress. it’s not dropped, don’t worry. i follow the author on tumblr, and they post updates, q&as, and snippets of the characters frequently.
++ interactive fiction is a long process, as they need to write, code and check for mistakes/errors; most interactive fiction authors work solo, so this may be the cause for delays in updates. sorry for the long text. have a good day !!!
