Thanks, homie. I really do appreciate the concern. I don't want to turn into the kind of dev that makes excuses for 2 years between each shitty update, you know? I'm naturally a lazy person, if I can't maintain the discipline to do regular updates I'll end up gaming or modding other games, and that isn't fair to the people who support me or enjoy the game.

I am trying to get a little better about taking *some* breaks, but this year has been a trainwreck of getting sick and IRL issues, so I always feel like I gotta work more to make up for it.

And yeah, I really hope Steam helps. Being able to make a living, even if it's not crazy successful, would be fantastic. Much easier to work on the game without stressing it, or my future, as much in that scenario. Definitely haven't been making anything close to enough to live on, so the future is still concerning.

Already got approved for steam, launch in about 2 weeks, so we'll see how things go then!

Don't know if you have a schedule set or just work when inspiration strikes but definitely just force yourself to set an hour aside each day just to chill or go to a Starbucks or something just a brain break essentially. Have seen too many creators burn out lately, at least your game isn't lacking but do take care of yourself as well!

It's mostly just 'whatever free time I have,' waiting for inspiration is a surefire way to never accomplish anything as a writer. I learned that the hard way, took me way too many years to figure it out while writing casually. Motivation is the enemy, not an ally.

Anyways, unsolicited life advice aside; thank you for caring! As a dev it sure feels like not many people do lol. I have friends yelling at me to take breaks so I'm trying to find a good balance, this Steam release definitely adds a lot of stress to keep going though.

I again wish you the best of luck, your work is definitely one of the more unique on here and it's easy to tell how much passion you put into it.

Thanks man! I'll keep at it!
