Oh wow, this is really interesting to watch. I would love an option in the menu where soldiers are destroyed instead of converted to get like a final tally of units (although that'd also require, like, upping the movement speed as there are fewer and fewer soldiers or something as it could be ages before the last few units battle lol), but this brings about a really interesting concept: the fact that fully defeating one's enemies actually means defeat, not success. The only way to win here is to purposely strengthen the enemy you CAN defeat so that they can defeat the enemy you CAN'T defeat, then once that enemy is gone, step in and eradicate the only remaining enemy type.

That's a really cool thing to think about in game design in general, honestly!
