I disagree ;-)
People are not born with views and perspectives. They have to reason their views at some point. If their reasoning was wrong and they do not have a hard enough stick in their butt to accept their own mistakes, they can change it, if presented with better reasoning or new information. Sadly the internet is full of emotional appeal and other unsound reasoning. So many people rather indulge in sunken cost fallacy instead of accepting that they are wrong by their own standards. Prime example to be seen is flat earthers that accidentally prove the sphere and then try to rationalize how they are still right with a flat earth.
So, I do not say it is easy, just that it is possible.
