the game says there is a new update, but when i click it, it only brings me to a page where i can BUY it! i doubt i have to BUY the game for EVERY update! XD so, where/how do i update teh game?

Ah, sounds like you need to associate your itch.io account with the game!
Find your original purchase confirmation email and click the link in it. There you'll have an option to tie it to your account.
