As far as I'm aware (I tried again), no errors. Can only obtain tainted essence, which its my character's essence. I'm trying with a halfkin wolf and a beastkin wolf.
Orgasm, race, and magic affinity are the key factors, if any are missing you get none.
Thanks a lot! Creating a new character with higher magic affinity seems to have fixed it.
