The combat in the game right now is the turn based version, it just doesn't look like it because everyone is moving simultaneously. Clicking the play arow will allow you to watch it one turn at a time. It's a little awkward, but it's a lot better than any of the real-time physics-based versions I had. I've already made some big improvements in the v1b patch which will be available at the end of the month, and I plan to keep adjusting stuff in v2 and beyond.
