How to obtain the TRUE HAPPY ENDINGS (SPOILER WARNING)
- In the ruins you must obtain the chain locket. To do this after picking up Flowey you need to choose to return to the graves either because “they look lonely” or to “offer up a prayer.”
- In the ruins you must hug Toriel at the end of your counter.
- In Snowdin as soon as you reach Snowdin you must immediately choose to leave. This will be the top choice the first time you enter Snowdin. After you leave pick either the left or right path to encounter Greater Dog. At the end of your counter choose to cuddle Greater Dog.
- In Snowdin When you return to Snowdin there will be an extra option of the Greater Dog trying to catch your attention. You must select this option. They will give you a stick as a symbol of friendship.
- In waterfall When you are lost, go forward FIRST. This will let you encounter Shyren. Succeed in this encounter to secure Shyren’s support.
- In the labs You must ask Flowey if there is anyone else in the lab. This will allow you to go down the path to save Alphys, and you must save her.
- In the labs When you have the option to explore the floor after leaving the elevator, take it. Go into the “gaping hole” in the back and choose to KEEP THE PAPER.
- In the labs You must commit to wanting to save the entity every chance you get.
- If you are in the right track at the end of Hotlands the transition screen will confirm you have 2 out of the 3 items for a true ending & if you 1.) hugged toriel 2.) have the stick 3.) Shyren remembers you 4.) if Alphys is helping Flowey.
- In the city you have to keep committing to helping the entity.
At the castle if you are on the right track, Chara will whisper in your ear and guide you to their old room. You will receive the locket. Then (if not on Wingding route) when you confront Asgore instead of agreeing to leave, you will refuse. You are now locked into the true happy ending(s)! If on Wingding route, then Wingding & Asgore won’t have a chance to fight each other so you know you’re golden
