First time here. I'm not finish reading the VN but here my opinion about Rainbow VN
I know this VN using 1st person POV. However, for me it's kinda weird to see Rayne's name and sprite meanwhile the text is the narrations of the story.
The difference between the narrations of the story and the dialogue only on the quotation mark ( “.....” ). Rayne's name and sprite while the text is the narrations of the story makes Rayne looks like monologuing...
Other than that, this VN is promising.
Yes, Rayne has three kinds of dialogue style:
1. When there's quotation mark (") and his sprite appears; He's saying it verbally
2. When there's no quotation mark but his sprite appears; It's a thought in his mind
3. When there's none of both; yeha, it's sort of like a narration that Rayne's doing (more like to give a better explaination without expressing his personality in the sentence)

Most of the 1st person POV VNs that I've read, not doing this.
Well, there are some VNs that never show their protagonist face, tho😅 so, your VNs aren't that odd.
Don't worry about that, it doesn't make my reading session less enjoyable.

I enjoyed your VN, and from the prologue, I know that you often read manga or watch anime that isekai genre
So much tension in the last part of first chapter. and it seems, I will get post-reading blues

Well, I chose to make it Japanese culture mainly because the region they're in is Evereast(Which is basically in the east), and the Japanese are a part of the east Asians based on Regional Groupings. I wouldn't know about every other but I purposely chose Japanese culture to present because as I said before plus...Their culture is pretty :>
