Try unzipping the folder with unarchiver. If that doesn't work, you can run the pc version with winehq.
Thanks - the unzip worked but led to an error (attached). Any ideas? If I can get it to run I will donate as well as I do like your work!
Update: IN case anyone has the problem again, I solved the problem by moving the executable into the Applications folder in Mac (instead of imbedded in a Game folder within the App folder).
