I think I'm going to just go back to the previous version. I know 3.0 is supposed to be designed to give more agency, but it honestly feels like it gives less. The origins that aren't redundant feel shoehorned, new events force outcomes regardless of traits, and there are so many preview areas that it just feels unfinished whereas the previous version at least had full stops (esp weird with passing time action).

On top of that, I updated mainly to see promised content like the roommates and was hopeful the origins or traits would alter the bully storyline (but instead altered the soccer boys personality wise in a weird way). I still can't trigger the high intelligence events either and I absolutely loved the mall (plus you could have made it so that the market essentially exists inside a broken down mall).

But most of all, I used to be able to use the Cheat Menu to bypass weird personality breaks, but some of the things added in make that impossible now, like the -1000 desire debuff which literally breaks the game for days.

Some other weird stuff: Broodmother dialogue currently makes it seem like Sammy doesn't care about her offspring (which would be understandable for Gamine though), Bimbo is the most well made origin numbers wise but lacks personality, the junkyard has zero danger and library has no npcs despite dialogue stating otherwise, and the new confidence increases and decreases way too quickly. I also still need to force extreme drunkenness no matter how slutty Sammy is for a substantial amount of content to work. Also, the hangover event triggers almost always over the new negative events, letting them be easily skipped.

Just really needs an overhaul imo, especially origins.
