Weirdly funny, dark, yet a bit unpleasant cause of 1 certain issue.
The subtle hints with the game are far more intriguing than the 4th wall breaking comedy and actual gameplay. The visuals and overall design of this project is unique. Walking around "Forest Of Evil" is surprisingly eerie, considering the non-stop commentary from the main protagonist. In addition to the corny humor, which I did enjoy, there are multiple hints at the overall story - now, this being a "Slender Man" parody is one thing, but the title is a bit on the nose.
I thought about it once I got close to one of the mines and was blown up. Then I was directed to the "death" screen, which had an interesting article about, well, certain topic involving women. Now, it might be a coincidence that the character's last name is Epstein, but again, throughout the game there are conversations and texts, which indirectly point to one of the most controversial topics in the 21st century. Now, I might be 100% wrong about this, but definitely, that took me off the game instantly.
I do feel the comedy and talking to the player is fantastic, the sound design and gameplay - superb, but that 1 thing was stuck in my head and it made the experience unpleasant. At least, that's what I got from the game. If that were to be fixed, the game would be perfect.
