Love the art style, love the genre you picked. Runs smoothly without setting my PC on fire. I love this kind of game, hope to see more, or Part 2 some time :) Need to play it again though :O right away c:

Thanks so much for the kind words! My wife did all the artwork herself in a short amount of time as it was a game jam. It worked out well though because the only way she could draw everything in time was with these frantic courtroom style sketches which really fit with the theme. We definitely have plans to make another similar game or a chapter 2 at some point. Thanks again!

Not sure how to review the game in further detail without giving away too many spoilers: Even though once you figure them out, some of the hints gave me a headache because I was concentrating on completely unrelated things rather than the actual clue. Your wife has incredible talent! I completely agree that the artflow is unique because of the sketchy technique. While admiring the limited but lovely details in the pictures, I even forgot that I was trying to solve a crime. Even though I've already gone through it, I feel like I could keep playing. It's been a bit since I discovered something "fresh" in a genre I assumed to be too familiar with.
I was initially irritated that I was forced to ask the same questions to everyone and that the clues did not lead to the discovery of new questions, but after a while I understood and, on top of that, I began to enjoy it. I'm almost positive you had music, but I'm not sure. I guess I should start playing again. :)
Please continue on this ♥
