The slidebar to periodically export every X minutes doesn't say how many minutes. Also when set very low/short and with the program running, no periodic exports are happening. Known bug?
No, not a known bug. The slidebar issue might be a visual bug, make sure to have the latest (.NET 5) runtime installed - check the link in the "System requirements" section.
As for the periodic exporting, not sure why that's happening but it is on your part - works fine for me.
