If you're using the Itch app, and are on Windows, Linux or Mac then the game will patch automatically for you - you don't need to do anything.

If you're not using the Itch app, and are on Windows, Linux or Mac then you need to download the entire update file and EXTRACT TO A FRESH FOLDER.

If you're on Android then you need to download the apk and install it over the top of the old version (DO NOT DELETE THE GAME or you'll lose your saves permanently)

In all cases your saves are automatically transferred over for you :)

NOTE: There is a potential bug with the Itch app's updating procedure which can wipe out your manual saves. If this happens, don't panic, your nightly autosaves are still there. Just open the LOAD page, click on the "A" next to the page numbers at the bottom of the screen and voila!
