A neat little pseudo-idle game.

Pros: cool concept, simplistic design, cool art and audio, satisfying mechanics

Cons: it was a bit difficult to understand the card stacking mechanics without specific instructions but that may just be me, I don't often play this type of game. The game got repetitive very quickly and it was unclear if there was an actual endgame, I wound up quitting on I think day 9 after I hadn't discovered anything new. Additionally, the inability to sell workers made it so that you could build unsustainably and it was unclear what the benefit of extra workers actually was since you only had one metal detector and one workbench.

This may feel like a lot of criticism but overall this was a well-polished game and given the one-week deadline it's very good for what it is. Not my type of game but objectively it's very well put together and I'm sure it would have plenty of appeal to its target audience if it were updated after the jam.

Thanks so much for the feedback!

I can see why you would quit in those conditions. Basically, the metal detector can dig up other tools, like the Primitive Antenna and the PNY GeForce RTX 3050. These can be stacked with Vanilla Humans on the Attuning Table to produce specialized workers, who can use the tools they studied to advance, and reach the end game.

Again, thanks for playing the game! :)

I initially figured out how to make the specialized humans but I never realized they had to be stacked on the items alone to perform different jobs. I played again and got all the way to day 40 but nothing new was happening so I gave up. You would think I'd have learned my lesson the first time but it took a very long time for me to realize I had to put people on the paranormal forests. It's possible there was another combination to progress. Overall though it's a fun gameplay loop and now that I've experienced it properly I'm updating my rating. If I may make a suggestion maybe give more detailed instructions for dumb people like me? I know you can't update the game during voting but you can add a description to the game page which would still help.

Thank you for your feedback! After reading other comments, it doesn't seem like your alone in not quite knowing what to do. The game just doesn't really inform people enough, perhaps I will end up adding more detailed tutorialization. :)

EDIT: I just re-read your message, sure I'll add a description to the page!
