Where can I find stones for crafting? They used to be by the water, but I can't find any to pick up.

There are some big rocks you can punch.

Sounds like a terrible idea to me, but hey, whatever works.

Thanks, I may or may not try that haha

I know the game is still in development, but I was curious if there is any progression implemented, or if it's still a test bed for all the systems that eventually make up the game.  Sounds like it might still be the latter.

The stones accidentally got removed in the 0.8 version, will bring them back in the future.

The progression is not really well tested but im trying to make it more and more viable to start the game and progress to better gear, more difficult enemies and upgrading skills/stats.

It's probably possible for the more hardcore players currently to progress, with a few bugs/caveats. Would love feedback on the progression as well as i rarely have time to play the game for longer durations of time, mainly i test features quickly before moving on to the next thing.
