FlowScape not opening on Mac

I followed the exact instructions of the previous posts, but I still for some reason cannot open the app. I continue to get the message that the application cannot be opened.

Hi Folks,

Is anyone able to run the Mac version these days?

I was about to purchase when I saw these comments. It seems like the chmod fix may not be working? (Or maybe it's user error??)

I don't want to just throw $10 away if there's no fix or hope of a fix any time soon.

Any news / update would be appreciated.

I have uploaded another v 1.21 hopefully this works. Can you please try?

The issue is that Windows doesn’t work with UNIX permissions, so it messes them up

hence why you had to or still have to do the chmod trick

To anyone else having this difficulty: If you install the itch.io Mac app and install this software through there (rather than downloading separately), it may fix the problem for you. It did for me.

not updating on Mac using itch.io. Just continues to say running.
