Even if I am the only one who paid for it, I still resent the games always being described as "free on Itch". Free is an OPTION. It is not a "free game"!!!! So I have every right to ask why there has been no developer's notes since April 2022, 10 monhs ago, let alone no update to the game! AVNs that end up doing well, sales wise, are those that have developers keeping their customers updated regularly. The Love of Magic dev did that, and now he's on Steam selling 1,000s and 1,000s of copies! Devs that don't care, have games that don't sell....
That's up to him, he could have charged a price from day one. But maybe he knew he preferred all that income from Patreon, so said, "i'll leave it as a free option on Itch, so no one can complain about how I care more about my Patreon customers, and barely care about my itch customers.
I want to know why you are such a big fan? Are you one of his Patreon customers, paying $5 a month for 10 months, so $50 with no update, but you don't care? To be honest, I find your attitude strange?!
