I really appreciate the feedback and enjoyed watching the playthrough!

I was laughing to myself with the Esc key. I have no idea why I picked that key but quickly realized it was a problem as soon as I tested it in HTML. Originally I planned on Windows export but couldn't get the other OS exports working in time so had to settle as it was getting close to submission time.

Thanks for talking through your playthrough. It was nice to see how people approached the game and what mechanics I thought were obvious were actually not that obvious.

Some things I learned that I need to make clearer:

1. The "Next Star" button is supposed to be a move on and start on a new star button. The general gameplay loop is just playing on one star as long as possible.

2. The Esc key. Still cracking up about this one

One thing you mentioned was how the "sweet spot" wasn't changing. That was actually something I really wanted to do but struggled to come up with how to get it to work. One idea was to have the volcanic planets act as a way to warm up the area and make the sweet spot larger.

Again thank you so much for playing and I hope you enjoyed it. I sure enjoyed watching the playthrough.

That's an amazing idea! Really leaning into how the planets can interact with each other. Maybe play with different types of suns. Ooooo, you can have the player have to strategically place moons and large planets to help the habitable planets grow life (like our moon, and Jupiter)... But I would love to play this again if you keep working on it. Really loved the concept and glad the feedback/stream was so helpful!
