Hey sorry I didn't ask this sooner but do I need any special permissions to make games with HS2 or can I just jump into it?
You can't publish your game on steam if you make scenes with any Illusion games. You're technically not meant to use the contents commercially due to licensing/copyright stuff but I don't think Illusion ever cared about it (and I don't think they ever disallow it).
If you feel it's a concern, consider daz3d or maya.
